Logotipos minimalistas de David Powell

David Powell es un artista que hace ilustraciones minimalistas inspiradas en la naturaleza. Él ha sido parte de un proyecto de la empresa Clif Bar, en donde hizo algunos logotipos sobre el cambio climático. La sencillez en sus ilustraciones son lo que llaman la atención, pues no necesita hacer algo muy grande o que parezca complejo para quedarnos encantados con sus diseños.

Tiene una cuenta de Instagram en donde comparte a sus más de 88 mil seguidores sus trabajos. No solo publica imágenes, también cuelga algunos vídeos en donde sus pequeños dibujos tienen movimiento, aún manteniendo la simpleza que lo caracteriza. También, utiliza sus diseños para estamparlos en polos y venderlos a través de su cuenta.

Este dibujo lo hizo con tinta y, posteriormente, lo pasó a digital utilizando Illustrator para agregarle color.

Él siempre está creando y probando nuevas ilustraciones en su computadora. A este dibujo, le añadió textura y distorsionó las formas. Quedó muy contento con el resultado.

It always fun to try and create my illustrations on the computer. It’s definitely a challenge for me, because they often times come out looking too clean, and not right. I am really happy with how this one turned out, though. By adding some texture and distorting the shapes a little bit, I was able to create something that had more of a hand drawn feel.

Jenean Morrison crea llamativos diseños que pueden ser utilizados como imágenes de fondo en nuestros celulares, Ipad, computadora, etc. Ella utiliza Adobe Sketch para realizar sus alegres creaciones. En su cuenta de Instagram, comparte sus trabajos a sus más de 48 mil seguidores.

I made these available back in November, but I thought I’d reshare them today since there are several brushes featuring hearts! ❤️ There are 16 brushes and 6 happy color themes! En sus diseños, podemos encontrar temáticas florales, con formas geométricas, mariposas y distintos modelos creados con distintas formas. Ella lo realiza jugando con las opciones que le da su Sketch: pinceles, plantillas y colores. Además que varias plantillas son de su creación en diferentes herramientas de diseño.

Mientras va jugando en su Sketch, ella va creando varios tipos de pinceles y lo guarda para, posteriormente, utilizarlo en sus nuevos diseños.

Just a quick brush-making exercise in #AdobeCapture and #AdobeSketch! I used the paint brush in Sketch, then made a brush from that image in Capture. You can make brushes from ANYTHING and the results are often happy, unexpected surprises! Hope you’re having a good weekend! Working on my #iPadPro in Adobe Illustrator Draw and Adobe Capture. I’m creating “shapes” out of the artwork I created these past couple of days. In Capture, you can make a shape out of anything and use that shape in Draw to add texture or pattern to you art. You can access Capture directly from the drop-down Shape menu in Draw. Once in Capture, open a photo from your camera roll (or take a photo) and follow the prompts to make a shape. The last prompt will say Save & return to Draw”. After you save it will send you back to Draw where you can access your new shape! Let me know if you try this! La mayoría de sus diseños se caracterizan por los colores que utiliza, ya que todos son claros y muy llamativos. La mayoría de veces, ella no empieza con alguna idea en mente, solamente empieza a jugar y deja que su imaginación la vaya guiando. En algunos de sus trabajos, duplica las capas y luego cada una las va transformando. Ella considera que es una manera simple de hacer un dibujo complejo.

Playing with color and shapes in Adobe Illustrator Draw on my #iPadPro. I often just start making marks with no real design destination in mind, then I see where it leads. In this video, I made a bunch of marks, duplicated the layer, then played around with the blend modes within the layers. Utiliza una variedad de pinceles que le dan diferentes texturas y estilos a sus diseño. En algunos dibujos podemos ver como si hubiera dibujado con plumones y en otros como si hubiera utilizado acuarelas. Jenean, usualmente, graba los procesos de sus creaciones para compartirlo con sus seguidores.

I hope you guys aren’t tiring of these videos! I really love making them, and since I’m drawing and creating every day it is quick and easy content for Instagram! One of my fave things about drawing on the iPad is being able to draw light on top of dark. Otra de las herramientas que utiliza es Adobe Illustrator Draw y Adobe Capture. En Capture, puedes crear una forma de cualquier cosa y usar ese modelo en Draw para añadir textura o patrón a tu arte. Es así como crea distintos tipos de pinceles, los cuales guarda en su biblioteca para luego usarlos en Adobe Sketch.

Daily sketching and brush-making on my #iPadPro– same apps and technique I used in yesterday’s post. I started by drawing a butterfly in #AdobeDraw, then I saved an image of the butterfly to my camera roll. I then opened #AdobeCapture and created a custom brush using that image. The brush feature in Capture is easy to use– you can make a brush from anything, and there are several presets you can start with and modify. After creating and saving the new brush to a library, I then opened #AdobeSketch and accessed the newly saved brush. I changed the colors and placed the butterflies around on the canvas. Daily sketching and brush-making on my #iPadPro! I started by drawing a flower in #AdobeDraw, then I saved an image of that flower to my camera roll. I then opened #AdobeCapture and created a custom brush using that flower. The brush feature in Capture is easy to use– you can make a brush from anything, and there are several presets you can start with and modify. After creating and saving the new brush to a library, I then opened #AdobeSketch. The blue background was created by using the Watercolor Flat brush. Then I accessed the newly created flower brush and moved my #ApplePencil across the canvas.
