Johnnie Walker<\/strong>, marca de whisky<\/strong> que goza de gran popularidad en el mundo entero, ha sorprendido a propios y extra\u00f1os con el redise\u00f1o de su cl\u00e1sico logo por primera vez en m\u00e1s de un siglo, para ponerse una mano en el pecho por una importante causa.<\/p>\n

Como se sabe, con el pasar de los a\u00f1os parece que las injusticias hacia la mujer han ido aumentando, situaci\u00f3n que empeora por la poca empat\u00eda de la sociedad hacia estos problemas y, peor a\u00fan, de las autoridades que deber\u00edan de actuar. Sin embargo, existen marcas que buscan marcar una diferencia.<\/p>\n

Walk With Jane<\/h1>\n

A partir de marzo de 2018, precisamente por el Mes de la Historia de la Mujer y el D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer, Diageo lanzar\u00e1 al mercado el nuevo \u201cJane Walker<\/strong>\u201d, una edici\u00f3n especial del conocido whisky Johnnie Walker Black Label que llevar\u00e1 un redise\u00f1o de logo para mostrar a una mujer con botas a la mita de un camino, inclinando su sombrero.<\/p>\n

“The Jane Walker Edition<\/strong>” estar\u00e1 disponible s\u00f3lo en los Estados Unidos y tiene como misi\u00f3n representar el compromiso de la marca para apoyar las causas que velan por los derechos de la mujer y, obviamente, ampliar el atractivo de su trago hacia ellas.<\/p>\n

Ante ello, Stephanie Jacoby<\/strong>, vicepresidenta de Johnnie Walker, coment\u00f3 en una entrevista a la revista TIME que a menudo las mujeres suelen percibir al whisky como una categor\u00eda intimidante. Pero al cambiar el logotipo, esperan que las mujeres se sientan mejor acogidas por la marca.<\/p>\n

A su vez la marca ha creado la campa\u00f1a #WalkWithJane<\/strong>, la cual beneficiar\u00e1 a distintas entidades que luchan y defienden este tipo de causas, y donar\u00e1n $1 por cada botella de la edici\u00f3n Jane Walker, hasta llegar a los $250,000 en total.<\/p>\n

“Striding Man”<\/h2>\n

En 1908, Johnnie Walker present\u00f3 su logotipo original “Striding Man<\/strong><\/a>“, el cual naci\u00f3 por un concurso llevado a cabo por Alexander, el hijo del fundador de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, John Walker. En \u00e9l, el dibujante Tom Browne cre\u00f3 la imagen del alegremente llamado por muchos \u201cJuanito caminante\u201d, la cual dibuj\u00f3 por primera vez en el reverso de un men\u00fa durante un almuerzo de negocios.<\/p>\n

Con los a\u00f1os, el famoso Striding Man ha ido evolucionando pero reci\u00e9n ha sido hasta este 2018 que la marca y sus responsables, en este caso la gente de la agencia Anomaly New York<\/strong>, han decidido dejar a Juanito de lado para poner en su lugar a una mujer.<\/p>\n
